The first pages has had a good amount of comedy. The art is really cool with dark color it really sets up the mood. The fight panels are really cool

This chapters have been more about adult reality than esperanzas reality. I like this change of things because everything is more close to actual life

Past couple chapters seem more sad and deep. Esperanzas abuela is blind and esperanza is always reading her books. Esperanza feels bad but tries her best to make her abuela happy.

This past couple chapters have been good.
They way the story unfolds the characters and the funny description of things and people. I like how one chapter can be centered on one single object.

I love this books narrative how esperanza describes her neighbors. I like how esperanza makes a big deal out of everything like the chapters that can just talk about one thing like someones name. This books feels really relatable specially because of the spanish, it makes the book really funny.

Page 12 Of actual book i finished the introduction. I like how the esperanza describes her environment and people. She describes them in a funny and relatable way. I also find funny the short chapters and dumb stuff they are about like the book the niñas and niños chapter also the chapter thats all about her name and how she hates it

I haven't been reading much but I will start to when I get home. I'm liking this book because I find it more relatable when in Spanish and also funny. I like how the father describes the place that the girl is in its really funny and really adds a mexican touch to it

I chose this book because Lisa recommended it and because its in Spanish.

I also chose this book because I have never read a book in Spanish and wanted to give it a try.

I chose this because it looks like its going to be funny and interesting.
