I read this to my boyfriend when the power went out last night LOL. It’s interesting but it’s like kinda very much following the pattern of most thriller mystery books in the same genre so we shall see. I’m of the school of mind that these sort of books are fun so I don’t go in with expectations of being WOWED and just that it’s a fun time

Things were looking up which means something terribly tragic is coming! I’m actually liking this book lot more than I thought. I can’t wait for the ending bc everyone I talked to abt this book tonight has made me feel like something horrid this way comes. Toodles.

Things got dark for a moment

It’s giving eerie and I was listening to some intense man read it to me while I’m reading it and he’s playing spooky backtracks but I need the pace to pick up a bit.

Not much to say 25 pages in. Writing style is cool but this man has an expansive vocabulary. like me dumb make words simple. Also why do authors do that thing where they legit say fuck quotation marks. Like idk what these “” mfs did to some writers but it must’ve been bad. If u can’t tell im bored at work

My mom been here so couldn’t read as much. But I love this boooook. Makes me feel how I did when I read Percy Jackson for the first time
