honestly i forgot what book i was reading in chapter 5, I got lost in the letters and the proposals. I don’t know what i was expecting before reading but it wasn’t this - I am pleasantly surprised.

I started this on the bus home and i’m really enjoying it. Written in the way a 12 year old thinks is just a different approach to my usual books so it’s kind of refreshing. obviously there’s murders involved, so far i am really liking it!

i like the way this is written, with articles in the pov of some of the characters.

I loved beautiful boy and i love this book too even though im not finished it yet. the way nic captures addiction, the horrible feelings about yourself, the guilt, the shame is perfect. i can’t put into words how much i relate, feel seen etc. it absolutely doesn’t make me feel better about being an addict, it makes me feel worse but i also feel as if that’s a good thing.

NAH how could they kill her off she was so sweet i’m so angry

i’ve read it before but a couple years ago. i really enjoy how the woman is just batshit and u can never really tell how she’s going to react or what she’s going to do. the bit with the rat made me feel so unwell but all in all i like how she’s portrayed.

this poor man never catches a break & these books are so !!! and melancholic and the alcoholism is so relatable it just itches my brain

This book completely stayed away from the usual morbid theme peter may usually follows. Yes there was still a murder to be solved but i loved the way this book took you back and captured you in the second world war where the focus that the characters had were purely on the 'mona lisa'. It brings an appreciation into the art world & overall i thoroughly enjoyed.

I have been violently sobbing for the last 20 minutes. I do not support j.k rowling whatsoever but the whole way through this book I was really enjoying it and was going to suggest it to by sociology lecturer. the ending took the life out of me
