This one is 4.5 stars! It takes a lot to push through the first book (and partially the second). But quite the ride. I think this would be a great TV show and I hope HBO picks it up eventually

This whole Cassius situation is making me mad on multiple levels. Cassius has always been extremely irrational, and Darrow is always giving people the benefit of the doubt when they don’t deserve (same as Tactus and the Jackal). This guy’s writing takes some getting used to (and Red Rising was a struggle) but I do like that he doesn’t spoon feed too much. He throws stuff out and forces you to be an active reader/draw your own conclusions
