I disagree with the stepdad often because he is not a man of his word. For example he told trevor he could use his BMW for prom night but that night he decided trevor could not use it and it runied trevors day.

I disagree with the stepfather becasue he would not let Trevor take the BMW when he said he could. The stepfather is always drinking too. The drinking might have came from his environment or he could be dealing with a lot of stress.

I learned more about the location where this story is set, which is South Africa. It helps me better understand the book becasue I know alot more history about South Africa and how it is very diverse.

I wrote in the book that after church on Sunday, they could not find a minivan, and the minivan finally showed up, but the driver was in a very bad mood: "I am going to show you guys a lesson" (Noah 45). They decided to jump out of the van and stay safe.

Some of the things i enjoyed about this book was the eye-opening experience that I got from how fast-food restaurants run and they don't care about there consumers. Some of the things I did not like about the book was sometimes if felt repetitive (It was always about Mcdonald's).
