I do not like it when it is in random italics, where it says inappropriate things. It confuses me because I cannot tell if it is Tina writing those things or Richie.

I disagree with Tina. I don't understand how people can be mean on purpose and I would never do this on purpose so that is why I do not understand.

Eleanor's adversity made her see life differently from how Park did. She thought, "Eleanor could see Park's breath. She resisted the urge to try to swallow it" (Rowell 158). She didn't feel love often so she took in all the love Park gave her.

The research I did was about the place/setting where the book takes place. The book takes place in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1986-1987, and the research helped me discover what was happening during that time while everything in the book was happening. For example, the big Cornhusker game that they were initially chanting about.

I feel that he uses appeals a lot because he uses quotations very often. When talking about a plane crash scenario, he quotes the pilot saying the plane was, "sixty tons over maximum weight" (Gladwell 190) which caused the plane to be unsuccessful in he was trying to land somewhere to help a passenger having a stroke.
