I spoiled a big part of this book for myself because I am just too curious. So annoyed but still good. The time jumps are kind of annoying but I love a lil mystery. Reminds me of the Huron Mountain Club where I nannied, with the nature and the rich people. Beautiful but sometimes sinister vibes lol

I love Julia Whaelan and Emily Henry. After listening to almost all of her books this is a bit monotonous BUT I listen to her to do a reading reset. Calming and always such beautiful visuals she creates. Also it makes you want to be by the beach.

She’s also a man killer, live that. She’s kinda living my dream life alone on an island brewing potions and having animal friends. Amazing and poetic writing from Madeline Miller which is no surprise.
