How can you call this a colonizer romance? It’s pretty hard to like Antony. The whole time you’re just worried for the position she’s in. If she had taken up Baihu on his offer, I could only assume she wouldn’t been in this position at all. 😔

Heathcliff is a sadistic monster of a man playing a dirty long game and since these families are so intertwined, everyone’s being taken down. 😭 I feel sorry for everyone in this book honestly, not a single character has had a “good” life. 😔
