Already devastating I fear

I guess this was a bestseller? Despite Gianna being the love of Alfie’s life, and one of the main characters in the book, she is written very one-dimensionally.

There was a part in the book where Gianna was crying/upset, and Alfie thinks something about how nervous her green eyes make him. Basically, this book just reminds me a lot of the male gaze.

Overall, just not a lot of depth in the book in my opinion.

I feel so bad for Fanny. I’m hoping there will be a turning point where people recognize her for the gem she is. I also hope she has more personal development.

Terrified now that 217 Revisited has occurred. Ah! Also, I hate Jack, obviously an unreliable narrator.

Creepy! My prediction is that Jack is going to lose his mind (because ya know, he crazy and takes seemingly no responsibility for his actions) and maybe who Danny saw in his vision with Tony, the woman in the bathtub, is Wendy, and Jack kills her or tries to?? I guess time will certainly tell as I delve deeper into this horrible tale! Might have to pop it in the freezer if it gets too bad.

Fay is reasonably crashing out. I could go on a rant about old medicine and operating on an eye unnecessarily, but I’ll leave that for my notes within the book. BUT what I will say, is, I bet he became infected or his body could not handle the recovery.

Just wrote a full review that I messed up by accidentally clicking “I’ve finished this book!” Instead of “Done” fml. Basically, second round of triwizard challenges over. Everyone is gaslighting Snape, Snape hates Harry. I feel little remorse for everyone gaslighting Snape because he favors Draco so openly and so heavily. I wish Hermione would give Krum a REAL chance. They can be shark boy and lava girl.

Finally got back into this! It is so much more detailed than the movie (duh). I love the beginning Dursleys scene so much, it blew me away!

Not sure why everyone would think HP would try to enter the triwizard tournament. He’s bold, but he’s not an idiot!

Has increased in intensity. Hoping everyone makes it out alive, but we are dealing with the French Revolution, so who knows!
