The Dreyfus affair has always been a special interest of mine as someone who appreciates French history. It is a classic tale of partisan divide and how one innocent man was caught up in the deeply reactionary and antisemitic politics of the French right. Robert Harris does a phenomenal job of sucking you in to Le Bella Epoch France.
