I just realised this is the same person who wrote Milk Fed and if I knew that I don’t think I would’ve started reading this. At minimum, I am enjoying the personal insight into why she had written a book like that in the first place.

I always love a book that has very real advice, very real questions for you to reflect on while reading. I don’t think this is great for my mental health rn but by god, Susan, I WILL reclaim my life

I’m going to DNF this book. I don’t deserve to suffer like this. I cannot take it anymore.

White person goes to India => white person hates India => white person slowly falls in love with India’s religions and cultures => white person decides to try and take them for themselves. Hmmmm where have I heard THIS ironic story before????
