This book was so good man. Sara Hashem is so beautiful with words it’s flabbergasting. She places every word, every letter with so much precision it’s infuriating. One could only wish they could do it like her. Idk why she insists on leaving tragic endings on all her books but I guess that’s what makes them so impactful. All her characters are so terrifyingly human it’s exceptional. RIP Mina.

I’m finally stopping for today. Great book. Tahereh Mafi is very good with writing in a stream of consciousness. I see so many similarities between Warner and Cyrus which is always a good thing. Goodness I don’t like Adam still. Such a good book tho.

That was a solid ending. Warner using his powers for good! This book ranks above Shatter Me only because there was stuff going on throughout. Obv it got way better with Warner thank goodness. I’m excited to read the next one.

In the middle of Trials trynna speedrun this to get to Ignite Me. It’s not terrible but like Juliette is rage inducing. Kenji is the only relatable character in the whole novel. I’m staring to feel bad for Adam too. Juliette’s a hoe. For Warner tho, who wouldn’t be?

So this was a mid book. It was expected tbf. What wasn’t expected was Aaron Warner being an actual creep. Wth he’s fully a weirdo. Mans lost all his marbles. Everyone has lost it. Idk HOW this is a YA book. Absolutely freaky. I shall try Unravel Me.

Where did Warner go man?

I can’t remember the last time I read 90 pages in a day. Goodness I love reading. This book is def cringe with its writing, especially dialogue, but enticing for some reason. Good enough plot so far. Juliette is a top tier complainer. Adam just a weirdo and Warner is just Warner.

This author has a way with words I wish I had

The vibes im getting from this book is immaculate. Oh I hope it’s good. It’s giving Brienne of Tarth vibes and also tragic.

Sara Hashem just knows how to write.

Sara Hashem you’re testing me with this one. This is some like horror Urban fantasy type shit. I don’t like seeing text messages in a book. Only because it’s Sara Hashem I’ll give it a chance. I don’t think I’ve ventured out of fantasy for a very long time.
