Typo on 402, line -6: hear not here

Either I can't follow it or there are some narrative errors; or editing errors.

Just crested part six. It loses a star. While imaginative and surreal and scary and descriptively lush, there isn't a lot more going on besides the plot. One character changes, finds himself or is trying to. The rest are swept along, comicbook caricatures. It's really fun but a little long-winded. Highfalutin vocab for for its own sake, not for the specific colors they represent. Still great though!

Wish I wasn't almost halfway through this. So unputdownable. Wait, bedtime already?

Whew. Up to the appendix and I feel like starting over!

Just realizing this isn't just a book to read, now I feel inclined to start over and take notes. Like a solid piece of art it is going to take some thinking, and maybe a timeline, or list of tropes. Reading like this is easy if you can waste a weekend and just thumb around, but in half-hour or hour long intervals it's just too hard to keep track of it all.

You know, we just don't use the word 'bitch' like that any more.
