The whole time I was reading this book, something kept nudging at me. Something made it hard for me to even want to pick up this book at times. Now, over 90% in, I realize what it is- I don’t particularly like the MMC.

Tessalyn? She is perfection. Fighting against all odds to survive. Very well written FMC. I predict that she will pelt get more fierce as the series progresses.

Only had to get through more than halfway through the book for her to finally figure it out!

This is has been on my TBR for almost 2 years. Ready to devour it!

The miscommunication trope is one that I find annoying and unnecessary. Arg!

I’m a little disappointed that he was able to find her so quickly.

Of course she ran away. We could have all predicted that. What else can I predict? That Jonathan will scour heaven and earth to find her!

Thank goodness for the Alpha being there to change her fate. Granted, she’s getting kidnapped, and yet it still feels like a better outcome.

So here’s the thing. The “MMC and FMC both love each other, but won’t admit it” trope isn’t for me 😩🫠 I’m so bored.
Yet, I refuse to DNF this book, so we power on

Slow, tender and to be savored. That’s how I feel about this book. Such a random find, but I am taking my time reading it.
