110 pages in so so so good! Loving it so far! Simply beautiful and poetic!

50 pages in going pretty good. The language is obviously indicative of the time period so it’s taken a little to get used to it. I really liked what I’ve read so far, my favorite part so far is just learning Heathcliff and Catherine’s origin story/background they seem mischievous + genuine to each other. I thought it was sweet that they are at times eachother’s refuge.

The easiest route to comfort is conformity. The intensity of one’s desire to conform controls your ability to be influenced/manipulated. The government + patriarchy thrive/exist because of conformity and censorship. Introverts don’t conform to the “extrovert ideal”, how society wants to produce/construct a human being. Can explain why extroverts get more public/societal support/success/validation.
