Goodness me.. Quite a bit is going on. The religious jargon is amped up in this installment but boy is the plot thickening.

I finally am introduced to Sheeana, a child of 11 years who is the first to mount the new version of shai-hulud. (These worms now possess a piece of the God Emperors consciousness)

Welp, here we go again! 1,500 years after the events of God Emperor of Dune. We’re thrown back into the marvelous Duneiverse and much has changed. Humanity has scattered outside of the parameters set by the God Worm and the Bene Gesserit are no longer in an absolute position of power as they’re being challenged by the “Honored Matres”.. Eager to get further into this installment.

The God Emperor is something else, at this juncture, he has convinced a certain someone to be his wife. All while puppeteering the planet of Arrakis as well as the entire empire by way of limiting allotments of spice.
