Blimey, this is dark!

How is this women the masked bandit from book 1 ?!? Has she had a skill and personality transplant so she has no ability to do anything? How is she such a weak character now?

Emelda is really annoying me in this one. Get off your metaphorical high horse. Urgh. She’s been acting like a surly teenager for 125 pages

Why is this book so hard to read??
Is it the random Sri Lankan words and rambling style or is it the history that I shamefully don’t know.

22% is this going to be the first dnf for 10+years?? It’s so fluffy and I hate the main character.

Are there bits of the story edited out? One minute adamant is challenging for minter of fathomfolk, the next mira is arguing about the snake discovery. I’m so confused.

Oh my. There’s a lot of politics and houses and urgh. Just as I thought we were getting into a gritty court bring down, we’re off again onto something else. Urgh. It’s a saga.

She hears thunder and then sees the lightening. Urgh. This book has lost all credibility.
It’s a bit teenage angst-y. 🙄
