I made a magnolia flower wreath with felt flowers and leaves on a grapevine wreath. It took a while because I couldn’t find the iron in our house so I folded leaves that needed a crease with books on top of them to have them look pressed. I’m ready to give it as a late Christmas gift! And now know how to attach fake flowers to a wreath!

This book slaps so hard. I’ve never read an isekai like this before.

Now that the holidays are over I can go back to my craft books and such. The second recipe in this one is the birthday breakfast you sometimes see throughout the show. When someone has a breakfast in the White household, they get scrambled eggs with bacon on top in the shape of their new age. Helps show the passage of time in the show. I made that.

Working on a crocheted pink teddy bear. I stopped with this book for like a year to work on crafts for a wedding, but my New Year’s resolution is to finish outstanding projects. That includes both this teddy bear and this book.

I wanted to finish this book before new year, but it is so hard to read because of all the cruelty these people endured! I hope the people who let this happen got theirs.

Wow. They didn’t know sh!t about mental health in the 1880s.

Yep, the title lives up to its name, there is a knitting club of vampires in this book! 🧶

It’s doing the normal set up for a cozy mystery series. Except this time, it’s in Britain! And Instead of a bookstore, it’s a yarn store! I should make bingo cards for these type of books. 🤔

I feel like I know what the twist is, but this author has piled the bait-and-switch on me before. Also there was a reference to her other book, The Amalfi Curse. I don’t think I’ve seen her have more than one book in the same universe before. 🤔 Unless I’m just having Deja vu.

I hope I can get this done before Halloween, then I will have completed four books in one month! 🔥

I enjoy that after they reveal the person the medical mystery is about, you get to learn some fun facts about them and their lives. 😃 I’d share some, but I don’t want to spoil the answers for people who might read it in the future.

These books are so cozy to read.

It’s fun to learn the meaning of old and new terms related to medicine.
Orthopnia - means difficulty breathing while lying down
Infarction - the death of tissue caused by lack of oxygen.

I just finished an amazing book, so I need to balance is out with some trash reading. 🙂

It’s fun and interesting to learn about medical processes doctors usually go through to figure these diseases out and also fun to try and guess what famous person in history has them before the reveal.

The second play Watbanaland is very dark. I’ve seen a small similarity between the first two plays and the quills movie, the way the author likes to play with madness and making the people reading feel crazy. Don’t worry, it’s in a well written way. But it leaves me haunted every time.

Finished the first play of the book, Interrogating the Nude. That man earned his Pulitzer. I often find that most comedy doesn’t age well, this play was written in 1989 and it is still hilarious. And the writing is incredible! It’s even changed the way I feel about dialogue in movies and books! It doesn’t have to sound natural as long as it works!

When you start to set boundaries for yourself and what you can and cannot do, you will face disapproval, but it won’t kill you. If people are angry it might not be about you as much as it might be about them.

Whenever you have a question about if something you need is important enough to leave work, or turn down someone’s request, think to yourself, “if my friend asked me this same question or was in this same situation, what would I say to them?”

It feels like a giant magnifying glass is being placed over me and it also seems to point at some of my family members. I’m not sure they would be willing to read this though, as this kind of reality is a hard pill to swallow.

Made a wildflower crown with wrapped wire, twine, 24 small felt leaves, and 5 purple wildflowers. It’s a gift for the birthday of a little girl I know! I hope she likes and is gentle with it.

I’m a little over halfway through the book and I’m pretty sure this romance is non-spicy. Which is fine! You can have a beautiful romance novel without sex scenes, just look how popular Amish romance novels are! Or other books that aren’t Amish!

For over a decade now, I have wanted to make the little teddy bear at the front of the book but was unable to because it required crochet and I only knew how to knit. I’m happy to say that I finally made him! 😄 he isn’t brown with pink trim like the illustration though, he is baby blue with white trim!
