This book is WEIRD.

Haven’t even finished yet, this goes straight into my book list of all times favorites.

Painful to read but so very worth it if you want to learn more about the 💩 Putin and Trump 💩 duo.

This book is depressing. But also this book is extremely informative and tells the story of the vermin that produced Putin and his regime.

I don’t know that there is any regime more hateful than Russia (tho the contenders are numerous).

However, there is one thing worse than Putin: citizens of democracies that do not appreciate the institutions other humans would die for.

Why am I reading such a depressing book?

This is a lovely book but so painful to read. I have known and loved every single one of the “secret” special places the author remembers as part of what made Hong Kong special to her. I can relate too much. It’s too sad. It’s really hard to read this. I dunno, maybe I need to take a break. 💔

This is too relatable it hurts. Institutionalized abuse towards women can apparently transcend linguistic cultural and geographical barriers quite effectively.

My god this book is INTENSE. I have to repeatedly put it down for how it is triggering all kind of ?stuff? about loneliness, pain, friendship, betrayal.

Pffffffffff.

I’m loving this! Especially the art, really you can see the growth of the character in the drawing of her character more than you can see it in the story. Amazing. Beautiful. And very good rhythm in the story telling too!
