It's still pretty simple in concept/writing, but the plot is better

This is fine, but I've read too many of these books to trust Atlas even a little bit. Also, why would we get Nadir's POV if he isn't the male main character? Just waiting for the betrayal to happen. Also, is lor the Heart queen?

The writing in this book is just... Not very good. I'm confused about why Lor's chapters are in first person and Nadir's are in third. Everything is colloquial and modern and I feel weird about it, but I do want to see how the trials go

If only the book ended here...
