I really want to DNF this book and at the same time want to see it through? I feel like I get a lot of emotional damage without any clear through line to the end? Idk

Pausing at the point where one of the characters suggests reframing a father’s death to be less sad as a way to manage grief. Then essentially says “I’ve gone through a lot too so I know things”…. Um ew and no.
