Vera Wong is a delightful and entertaining character who has a lot happening in her tea shop. The cast of characters drawn into her orbit are unprepared for her and her unrelenting pursuit of justice for the murder that happened in her shop. The dialogue is catchy and the situation is very entertaining. Vera is very clever in her own way and she’s honestly the best chance at solving the murder. Guess we’ll see.

What a lovely story and escape to the Tuscany countryside. It took me a while to get into the flow of this book, but the entertaining characters and stories they share have made it all worthwhile. There’s something dreamy about the writing and it draws you in. I’ve been reading and laughing so hard that it’s hard to put down. It’s definitely a slower paced book, but I’m glad I picked it up.

This is a delightful and cozy space story. I’m loving the characters and the adventure so far. The sentient moss is a great addition to the story. I wasn’t sure how it would fit into everything else, but my concern was quickly dismissed. I’m fully onboard with this journey and I’m excited to see where it goes from here!

This book picks up right where book one ended. Packard is still acting sheriff of the small lake town of the first book. Fresh off the previous case, he gets notified that a new murder has taken place at a home in town. After reviewing the facts from the scene he quickly realizes that there’s more going on than meets the eye. He will definitely have his work cut out for him. I’m curious to see where this goes.

This book has me hooked! I like the two main characters and the tension between them and what is expected of them. They’re both professional tennis players and they both are entered into the U.S Open. At some point they will have to play each other. Outside the court, there’s a relationship that is brewing. I am curious to see where they take it. It’s off to a great start, let’s see where they end up.

Just getting into this one. Mabel is an interesting character and she has a very tough childhood to overcome. At 81 years old, she gets thrown into the middle of a suspicious situation when her elderly neighbor is found dead in the house next to her. The locals say they have their doubts about her involvement, but her past make's her a potential suspect. She reveals how tough it was growing up with her parents.

Just started this one and it’s been great so far. I’m enjoying the flirting between the two guys in this story. Each is so different and well written. It’s an interesting dynamic that makes it a fun read. I’m glad I found this book and am giving it a try. Can’t wait to see what happens.

Getting more interesting and disturbing as I read this book. There’s definitely something wrong with, but the parents don’t want to hear about it. They are turning a blind eye to the situation with their child. Yikes! The drawing is getting creepier by the day. I’m curious what will happen next.

There’s plenty going on in the story and more tension with remaining issues from the first book. The characters are so fun and the murders keep on coming. I’m curious where this will take us by the end. I can’t stop reading this. Ugh. For now, it’s been a great read and I’m excited to read more.

Just started Book 2 and I’m loving it. It’s like returning to old friends and the quaint sea-side town they live in. There’s a lot of tension and struggle left over from the previous book. I can’t wait to read more and see how this one goes. Happy that Morpheus and “Cookie monster “ are back!

I’m enjoying this story and the colorful characters. It’s really interesting and keeps me interested in what the characters are going through. The author does a great job of capturing the time period and the tension of each character. Curious where the story is going.

Just started this book today. I’m enjoying the story and the writing is fantastic. It’s going to be a great, but tough story to read without getting emotional. Enjoying it so far.

I’m loving the snarky banter between the MMC and the pre-teen campers. Pair that with the murder investigation ramping up, and it’s the perfect mix of glam and camp. A fun read so far.

I’ve been itching for a fun read to get my summer reading started. This seems like a good way to get started. I’m a few chapters in and I’m enjoying the snarky comments, pop-culture references, and campy situations that the story has provided so far. It says that there’s even a murder mystery involved! Sign me up, although camping isn’t my thing! Can’t wait to see where the story goes.

So much heartbreak in this story. I feel so sorry for Samson and Peggy. It’s almost Christmas time and they can’t even see each other. Ugh. Hope there’s a light at the end of this story. Holding out hope for them. We will see. Pieces coming together.

The tension between the characters is getting more intense. I feel bad for the boy and his mom. The dad is super controlling and sneaky. I don’t trust him and he goes out of his way to belittle them both. I’m invested now. I’ve got to hope that there is some revenge for the boy and his mother at some point. Enjoying this one.

My first Will Dean book and I'm so excited! Doesn't seem like the happiest story, but definitely has enough tension to keep me interested so far. Can't wait to see what happens next!
