first two stories are.. something! definitely a little uncomfortable. i’m glad the january pages are not too many because now i feel like i genuinely need a month-long break. i picked up on how The Barber was eerily reflective of today’s small-talk-with-your-local-barber. still some tough chapters to get through because of the insane racism. see u in february!

this is kinda pmo because i don’t understand why they’re not together. genuinely. they both admitted they’re into each other but they won’t be together because ‘they can’t be’? wdym? why not? cus they work together? cus aiden keeps referring to himself as ‘emotionally unavailable’ even tho he’s so clearly not? girl. be for real. i hate when authors do this it feels so lazy. GIVE ME A VALID REASON

Picking up a little! Aiden is cute. Lucie is sweet. The writing is deffffinitely.. millennial lol. “This was not on my bingo card” errrmmm…. but I’m enjoying the characters and the flow of the story! It’s not slow but not too fast!

Why do i hate it so much when the FMC has a kid 🥲 ugh I will keep going because i’ve only heard good things but. already losing interest 😭😭
