Ken Pickard is finished with On Democracies and Death Cults: Israel and the Future of Civilization
One may wonder why I included this in my reading list. After all, it's a reference book. However, I am in a Doctorate of Education program right now, and we use APA version 7 for everything, so I have been MARRIED to this book ... almost every day I am looking up something from it. Consequently, I figured, "ah heck, I'll include it."

"I did not think that the great Vittoro made war upon women." That was a most strategic comment for her to make !!

Gosh, such suspense, "There was no sound but the wind, no movement but the bending grass." That is the lead up to 100 Indians a comin' their way.

Wow, if the reader had not yet picked up on the fact that this series is based upon the Quran, Hadith, and Sunna, then it became obvious when Alia referred to Al Kuds. Then she exclaimed to the Ghola, "The Holy City." So now Frank Herbert is using Arabic directly. Ug. His writing and insight are superb but, still, he's rewriting the story of Islam ... almost like another revelation from Gabriel.

This is sublime. The second book in this series draws the reader into the distinctions between the Bene Gesserit and Fremen worldviews: two worldviews that appear to be irreconcilable, or at the minimum, disparate.
