Never thought I’d have to force myself to finish and R. F. Kuang book I’m shook

Thank god this is on my e-reader so I can read while I walk, and do almost anything else because I cannot put this down

Yes I’m picking up another first book in a series instead of reading any of my other current reads. I know I have a problem. I will not stop.

My brain hurts but I’m down

Is this book amazing? Not really. But you can’t give me an unlikely group of misfits on a nearly impossible mission and expect me to not get attached

Their lives are literally a dramatic telenovela. But in a way I’m envious? Travelling around, meeting my different lovers and reading as much as I want doesn’t sound bad at all tbh.
