Bad Penny was very creepy, probably the scariest one so far

1st - accurately captures the gradual exhausting horror of working a corporate job, 8/10
2nd - this one was a bit confusing as an audiobook i think; i got lost a few times when it jumped who was speaking. but it was a good, creepy story overall. 7/10

The worldbuilding in this has been carrying the somewhat slow start but things are starting to pick up and I’m deeply invested now.

A bit of a slow start, but I’m interested enough to keep going. It’s a good thing Scream (1996) is one of my favorite movies

Reading this slow as hell because the last time I tried reading it before bed it freaked me out so bad I couldn’t sleep (this is high praise to be clear)

Okay this was a complete impulse choice from the library and I’m super digging it. Ocean’s Eleven in a fantasy setting is, as it turns out, amazing.

Halfway through and I’m feeling pretty lukewarm with this book so far. It’s not bad, but nothing about it has really hooked me so far, either. Trying to power through with both audio and ebook.

Another audiobook! Picking this one up for the drive in to work, it’s been on my want to read shelf for aaaaaages.

Finally getting back into this one. It's been a slow middle TBH but I'm seriously intrigued with where this story is going.

I'm a bit conflicted on this one so far, where I'm liking it a lot but I'm also stressing out constantly about what's happening and I'm not sure if I'm really on board with the characters? Hrmmmm

Well that was fast, 43 pages in and I’m already in love with this book

I'm tackling this as an audiobook, but following along with the Kindle version as well, so I can cram as much reading of it into a day as possible. It's been great to have on my long drive to work and I'm already in love with the world and characters. Sanderson's world building is amazing

Just like when I read the first one, I keep saying to myself "wow, did Cogman read my mind!?" This is so On Brand for me it's crazy.

A very interesting read so far that's just a touch hard to follow at times. Even with that, it's fascinating, and not a part of history I'm familiar with at all.

This book is just so fun. Irene and Kai are charming characters and I'm really enjoying the quick wit of the characters and plot.

I love Atwood's writing a lot, but it's rather slow so far. I imagine this one will take me a while to get through, but I am interested in reading more.

Really good! I love Gaiman's storytelling and I love Norse mythology so I figured this would be a hit for me, so far so good.

I really liked this for the first part, but for some reason I'm finding it incredibly difficult to keep reading. It's not really grabbing me; I'll come back to it soon, though.

The writing in this isn't nearly as polished as the previous books in the series, which is disappointing. I'm hopelessly hooked by the story, though, and desperately wish I could leave work to finish reading!
