Beste stuk literatuur dat ik ooit heb gelezen (en heb hem nog niet eens uit)

Ik denk dat ik zojuist de beste passage in een boek ooit heb mogen lezen…

Precies twee jaar geleden heb ik een poging gedaan tot dit boek. Dit omdat het vanuit een schoolopdracht kwam. Toen kwam ik er niet doorheen, en nu snap ik waarom.
Dit boek moet je overkomen, niet forceren.

Toen al onder de indruk, nu nog meer.
Benieuwd waar dit heengaat

For the second this since starting this book, I had to shred a tear. In my life I’ve had to deal with a lot of things, bad things;
But mourning for someone I truly love has luckily not been one of those things.
And I feel like I’d rather never know, knowing I’ll atleast endure it once in my life
Damn these pages hurt.

It has to get worse before it gets better, is wat people usually say (or the other way around depending on what people you ask). Usually I don’t like this trope in books, but it’s much needed in this big ass pill.
But I also feel like it’s gonna get worse again, otherwise this book wouldn’t be such a succes.
Let’s find out.

Well.. that took a dark turn…

Finally, things are getting good…
Well ‘good’ isn’t really a definition I should be giving to this part of the book, it’s really devastating and world wrecking to be honest.
Before the last passage, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go through with this book since I felt nothing had happened in the last 300 pages except for some world building.
But those pages might have been needed for the understanding of

During the second part of the book I had some serious doubt whether or not I could stand reading from Jude’s perspective. It began very straight to the point, all ‘show no tell’, and it really bothered me. But after a good talk about it with a customer of mine I started realising that his perspective suits Jude. The diary chapters were great and the buildup to the adoption of Jude were so sincere and realistic.

An interesting set up, can’t wait to read further

Soms raak ik de draad kwijt, maar dat is altijd snel op te pakken. Verder is het een zeer interessante read.

A very interesting book with great anecdotes and stories to complete the enormous pile of information you receive.

Een zeer interessant boek met ontzettend veel lagen omtrent onderwerpen zoals religie, identiteit, normen en waarden en de morelen die daarbij komen kijken. Een literair stuk zonder enig medelijden.

Wat is dit interessant om te lezen zeg. Voordat ik dit boek las, zag ik een kunstroof als iets lineairs; van dader naar koper en van politieonderzoek naar rechtspraak. Maar niks blijkt zo te zijn. Er zijn zoveel meer dingen aan de orde en het aantal mensen dat er iets mee te maken heeft gehad is ondertussen alweer verdrievoudigd. Megaaa benieuwd waar dit heen gaat.

Zeer interessant om te lezen hoe criminaliteit in verband staat met kunst(roven). En hoe schuw iedereen in die wereld voor elkaar is hahaha.

Oke cuuuuteee

Hoewel ik nog steeds in de ban ben van dit boek, moet ik ook rekening gaan houden met het feit dat het bijna ten einde loopt, en ik nu juist meer verdwaald ben dan honderd bladzijden geleden. Ik ben erg benieuwd wat voor een ontknoping zich voort zal doen

De pelgrimstocht is heel rauw en emotioneel

Warrigheid loopt op maar m’n interesse schiet daar dan weer bovenuit.

Mijn idee van dit boek is nog niet gevormd, wel is het zo intrigerend dat ik de pagina’s maar blijf aflezen en herlezen..

Dit boek is zo interessant, zelfs met knallende metal muziek op de achtergrond raak ik niet afgeleid
