In honor of Pisces season

Second time reading this classic. It's definitely a queer book where the author described himself as all three main characters depending on who is viewing him. The supernatural element makes the tale worthwhile as you begin to question, what pleasures/sins would I commit if I could maintain my purity. A big fan of the witty banter often coming from Henry!

Frankenstein is one of my favorite novels ever, and I am a huge fan of Ito. This adaptation didn't have the same pull as No Longer Human did for me, primarily because Shelley's text was hard to translate and reproduce in a manga format. The additional stories at the end were fun treats to experience after tbe main story. The highlight was Ito's artwork version of Frankenstein's monster. A truly terrifying construct!
