okay, well, i was right and i was wrong. thank GOD ava actually cares for sam, otherwise she’d be a goner goner. the magic/supernatural system is honestly intriguing, even if you could guess from the cover and the first get-go. we are, in fact, supposed to like jonah? at least sam is fond of him… using collective consciousness for a hivemind is not new, but i think awad does it well.

i just feel like this is all just a ‘we hate samantha’ party… the bunnies seem fake, ava seems fake and like she doesn’t support sam whatsoever. why is the most real character jonah?? we’re clearly not meant to like jonah???? i’m losing my marbles
