The slippery slope was an especially fire installment in the series , expanding upon the lore and transporting the orphans to a frigid evocative location… the grim grotto is so far mid by comparison , attempting to replicate what made book 10 successful . It unfortunately feels like filler , which was acceptable earlier in the series but is now frustrating . I don’t care for the nautical aesthetic either
