I’m struggling with this book … it’s so fkn slow and boring. I refuse to DNF because I’m so close to finishing the series. But my god. I’ve been trying to get through this book all year 🙃

I’m on chapter 12 and I’m not loving it. It’s not ‘bad’, the writing itself is actually really good, I just find the regurgitated ‘Handmaids Tale’ plotline boring

I’m finding the book pretty boring so far which I think has a lot to do with the fact that I know the story already

I’m getting Iron Flame X Reckless vibes … and it’s a bit annoying. I think if I hadn’t have jumped right into this book after reading Reckless it wouldn’t be so bad but I have bad communication trope fatigue

Frothing this book. I’m hooked. There’s still many questions and plot lines to explore but there’s already so much from the first book that has been explained. I think this will definitely be a series that I’ll enjoy more during my second and third reads

There is so much sexual tension in this book I understand how there can’t be any smut … amazing story, frothing it
