Ok, this is going pretty well

there are only 1303 pages of actual text, the rest is footnotes, maps, history and word definitions, some are before and some are after

so technically I am over 20% through

great fun, I love this book, I've not been this hooked in a while

of course not going through it in a linear way, so I have already read parts further ahead, but this is where we are at with the main readings, done with 1 Samuel today:)

it isn't the first weekend I tell myself this, but I'd like to get done this weekend lol I am really liking it but it just seems to me that I have been reading this forever.

Also, if this were IT and I had still 500 pages to go, I might go insane so idk when I'll get to that. But getting to know Derry in this book definitely has me wanting to go read IT soon:)

I must admit I spent the car ride both singing and reading so I didn't get as far as I thought I would. But I'm having great fun

Both Harry and Dorian are beyond unlikable, yet so interesting. If this had been my own book, I would have highlighted so many quotes.

I will hope to finish this before I go to bed, I really wanna know the ending and I just did not expect that.

I am really enjoying this book and I absolutely adore the way in which foreshadowing has been done without me having even noticed it was.

Honestly the book is a vibe with the parties and stuff but some things are so confusing to me. I just don't understand how this situation came to be. Like a lunch at your house where you invite the dude your wife is in love with and they kiss as soon as you're out of the room but there's other people. I am simply confused but it's funny

I love holidays where you just read all day.

people either hate it or are super obsessed with it but they all agree it's entertaining and that's what I want for the ride back 🫡
