So far absolutely loving this book. I know Dr. Barr and her voice is captured perfectly. The story she is telling is the story of so many evangelicals who begin to question their theological heritage—and yet, her walk away from complementarian theology is not one of hatred or abandonment but of hurt and hope. I love her stories, I love the history, and I love the academic made readable.
