I'm officially intrigued. Very good story-telling and likeable characters. So excited to see that this will be the first in a duology or series.

Really good so far. Admittedly it took me a couple tries to fully get into this book, I'm so glad I kept picking it up and trying.

This one is a little harder to read through. The tandem read helps so much. I am enjoying these new characters and storylines, and love revisiting Yrene's story. Hers was my favorite chapter in The Assassins Blade (though it was probably the shortest chapter). My inner nerd is wishing, waiting, hoping for all storylines to come together soon.

This book is so good. It took me a while, I had to put it down for weeks. But now I'm back in it to finish it. This may be my new favorite of the series...

TBR takedown! Giving this one a try. Ive heard good things, plus I'd like to read this before the movie comes out

It took 42 pages of story flashbacks to bring us back to present where Mazzy finds herself in a crater. The world building is a little choppy and confusing, which I can work with. My only issue is connecting with the main character. I find my mind wandering and it takes me 30 minutes to read less than 10 pages. I'm going to have to DNF this one for now. I love the description and will come back to it another time.

Going to pause on this for a bit so I can read and get rid of some of my other physical TBR books. This book starts off action packed and continues seamlessly from the last book.

I just got books two & three in the mail and had to dive right in. It picks up right where book one left off. I cannot wait to continue this series. Already I'm hooked and stayed up until 2am reading...
