Well shit! This enemies to lovers and spice is a very lovely and welcome addition to a mystery/true crime plot.

Ok I have to complain cus it’s really on my nerves now:

1) they would not jump to an MRI to “rule out a brain bleed”… that’s what CTs are for.

2) quit saying TBI and say CON.CUS.SION. If they were worried about a TRAUMATIC brain injury, they would not discharge her from the ER. It’s called a concussion

3) a doctor would never remove an IV. That is below them, nurses do that.

Realisticallllyyyyy suffering a ruptured spleen while pregnant, and being rushed into emergency surgery for a splenectomy, they would DEFINITELY deliver the baby either first or simultaneously via C-section. Just so everyone knows.

I don’t think I can finish this. Like literately … fighting the biggest urge to just google the ending and spoilers. Cus this book is so farrrrrrrrr in the other direction of greatness than the first. I don’t like the feeling of forcing myself to finish a book. And I’m so sad cus I devoured and was ENTHRALLED by the first book.
