I'm not sure if I am loving this version or "Rose in Chains" more. The more I read I am grateful that I read "Rose in Chains" first before finding the original fanfic.

Does this count as my re-read of "Rose in Chains" before the next book comes out later this year?

Well this is an interesting love triangle

While it is so different from "Measure of a Man," there are parts that make it interesting that she wasn't required to take it off A03. I do enjoy how Harry's equivalent is a Ron look alike hahaha.

This has been an interesting read so far.

Reading because I wanted to see the differences between this and Rose in Chains....there truly aren't many, but I'm loving it all the same!

Ohhhhh I'm so excited to be starting this ARC. I added this to my 2026 TBR last fall for a fun Halloween type vibe, but when I received the ARC in March, I decided I just couldn't wait!

They are soooo close to figuring it out, but I just realized I still have 40% left to read, and now I'm scared this isn't going to end how I want it to.

Ugggghhhh my heart!! Scorp and Al's playdate and then that poor baby witnessing Narcissa's illness... I'm a quarter of the way through and I've already ugly cried.

Still here for Pansy and Percey, or Twin Ps as I like to call them now. I'm not sure why I have waited this long to start this FanFic, but I'm loving it! Oh, and can we talk about the irony of Hermione getting a prickly cactus to take care of while also taking care of a house full of prickly Malfoys?!
