omg i’m going through this QUICK, evangeline only getting memories when she’s with jacks is KILLING me, like pls girl spend more time with him. i love how the author describes her pull toward him, because it is their fairytale that intertwines their fates tg. im at the part where she just stabbed the lord that attacked her, did yell period when it happened. and it was with JACKS’ DAGGER ugh im obsessed

omg i hate apollo so much, though i feel as though he’s not fully in control since it is the deal of Time and it was just nature that took her memories. like if jacks hadn’t done the thing apollo wouldn’t have thought of doing this if that makes sense. also just got a chapter in jacks pov which was amazing he is so in love and they already are getting back to old dynamics thank god. very excited to read more

omg it just gets better and better. they are flirting hella and she eavesdropped and lala said they look so yummy at eachother and he JUST CALLED HER LOVE. on chap 20 now but forced to go to bed by the thought of class tmr(sigh) eva with vampire venom was SO GOOD i was eating it up. also they are buzzy him talking about her sleep talking and saying his name a lot was making me smile. i HATE that me no read when couple so i locked in these past few days and read a couple chapters. they’re so good oh how i’ve missed reading. they were so cute together and now i got to the angst and the fights and i LOVE IT. i am a WHORE for angst, my favorite part of a book. i am sobbing in bed right now and the angst has just started again, i don’t know what these days will bring me but pls do prey. 63% word

so much has happened omg. he’s like battling with his inner turmoil of being queer and it’s written so beautifully, like the internalized homophobia makes me so sad i’ve cried so much. he’s currently been hooking up all summer with sirius and they’ve said i love u but remus is like i can’t be queer so now they’re just for behind closed doors. officially halfway through! very scared as i’m only 250k out of 900k so the later chapters must be super long. i am currently scared for what’s going to happen. the last chapter the main character lost contact with his friends from home that were parental figures to him, and then the chapters starts going “years from now, remus will be depressed blah blah” LIKE Y R U SPOILING ME!? not prepared for the angst

i have been reading this for the past 9 hours, currently 122k words in out of 980k, making good progress. So far i would say i am the same amount of hooked as i was with ATYD, tho i like the setting of this way better. also this book is supposed to be a super slow burn and so far there hasn’t even been a hint at romance, which i am very happy with. happy reading!
