Struggling with this book… and not due to any fault of the author or the story. I think it’s more the time within which we are living. I tend to read as an escape but this book offers nothing of the sort. Not only does its story sting with the horrors of our current government trajectory within the United States… but the style within which it’s written hold your face to the fire and doesn’t let up.
