I had to stop because the tension between her and Rorrik is DELICIOUS

I don’t think I have ever been more intrigued with a book. Why do I like Rorrick more? What is the full story with him and his motives with Arvelle? What did Ti do to Rorrick that is unforgivable? I even spoiled that Rorrick was Carrick accidentally and I still can’t put stuff together! All in the best way possible of course

I am very much liking this book. I liked the romantic idea of the Primus until I found out it was Ti…when they kissed and she had a whole line of: he tasted like blood. I knew he wasn’t end game. Also the fact that he left her for some reason 6 years ago? Not a fan! I much prefer the emperors son Roddick at the moment. Which may be a huge mistake, but there is SOMETHING there

I am absolutely living this! It is exactly what I needed to kick off spooky season. It’s also so unique. I feel like something more is connecting Ravyn and Elsepeth but I don’t know what it is.

This dumb girl. She blames every single thing that doesn’t go exactly how she wants it to on Anassa and Stark. Killian is the bad guy, and if not fully him, then his dad and he somehow knows things. Anassa’s mate is obviously Stark’s dire wolf (I can’t remember his name). And dumb girl cannot be told her connection to the queens she needs to discover it herself. Agh!

Oh my goodness I am just eating this up. The enemies to lovers is a STRONG one in this book. They are pissing me off (but I’m not mad about it) Medra needs to stop assuming Blake is the devil, and Blake needs to stop with the “mine” to her face.

There are obvious similarities between this book and Fourth Wing. But I wonder if that’s because it’s the only other fantasy series I’ve read in a school setting. Regardless it has lot of interesting aspects to it and I am very much enjoying it! I am incredibly curious about Medra’s other world and how that happened. We HATE Regan, and I look forward to her realizing Blake and Medra’s connection

Wow we learned a lot. We learned about Lyssa, a little more about Allesaria, and why the guardian (Ransom) is the way he is. Also oh my goodness when he thought she was hurt from the Turkin? Swoon. Where is Zavier? I mean I know where he is, but my goodness he is absent from everything. Calling Evangeline “little star” REALLY pulls on my personal heartstrings

Lordy this girl is killing me a little. It is refreshing for her to be as clumsy as she is. The thing that annoys me a tad is she is so quick to jump to extreme conclusions. I did not expect Zavier to have a daughter, and I still don’t know how to feel about him. I like the guardian, but that is just my little villain heart being happy.

I don’t know how to feel about our boys! Our boy the Guardian has a mouth and I like it and Odessa is physically attracted to him, then Zavier seems very sweet and I like him. They obviously both care for her. I’m so intrigued with what their relationship with one another is, are they related or just best friends or what?

Well well well, what a way to start. I’m obviously incredibly curious about the Prince and the guardian (oh my god what if they switched rolls in front of everyone for that exchange and that’s why the prince didn’t speak?! Padme Amadala’ed) But also her father obviously knows something because he is not overly concerned about dying

Soooo everyone knows…and they are still going through with the wedding?! UGH. Find a way out of it!

I. Was. Sobbing. In. PUBLIC!! I kept telling myself it wasn’t true, but she made it so convincing that I broke and just accepted it momentarily. Then to find out it was Mak, oh lord. I don’t know what is going on with Kitt, but it is not good for him or anyone. Part of me is wondering if Myla has put together than Paedyn is Kitt’s sister, and if so why is she letting her son be tortured?! Also the last night!!

Kitt knows of Paedyn…I am sure of it. I’m so confused why he is continuing on with this torture for all of them. I also wish this wasn’t YA and there was just a little spice. Although I am always swooning for Kai regardless of this

I love this series so much, & am just reminded why Kai is and will always be one of my top book boyfriends. I will say that it is painful to watch how everyone knows Pae and Kai are in love and is just okay with Kitt marrying her…especially Kitt. I know he has feelings for her but dude, she loves your brother! I can’t tell if Kitt is actually being progressive or is scheming…he seems to be agreeing too easily
