book 1/4 for my college quarterly crisis book club. due at the library in 2 days… time to lock in.

listening to the audiobook and so far it has some good points, but i had to pause it after he gave an example of a baby waking up screaming means that said baby is saying to you “oh no you don’t, i am God and you listen to me”… that’s such an odd perspective. i don’t at all think your 6 month old has that comprehension…

About half way through, and already thinking through who i can recommend this to. This book is sparking the love of learning i had when i was pursuing counseling as my career path. 10/10 material thus far.

so far it’s oddly cute. the little cliff hangers at the end of each chapter feel like how kids play with their stuffed animals 😅

listening to the audiobook… so far its just pointing to their other books and podcast, and the Bible. Bible 👍🏻 - other materials 👎🏻

listened to the audio book for a bit today… this book is so important. so discouraging to hear about the way women have been so overlooked medically for so long , and yet so encouraging that those norms are changing for the better.
