This is a very beautiful and hard read as a late diagnosed woman. I’m so appreciative of the author being this open and vulnerable. I’ve had a lot of feelings in my life of being the only one… And now I know I’m not. I also plan to be “openly autistic“ because I need people to know that autism is not bad or wrong. Until our society understands being different is not evil this struggle will continue.
