This book has me pretty hooked 💜 love the monster lore, I think thus far the characters are being fleshed out well. The writing is really doing it fo me, as well.

Okay, I'm starting to grow into these bitches 👀 ngl. Sometimes the writing is a bit cringy for my taste, but currently I'm on board on how this relationship unfolds. Rowan is pretty hot, okay. He was cringe at first, but now he's alright. And Sloane is cool. Yeah. Plot wise, is a bit all over the place, but I'm vibing 🔪🩸

I wanted to read something easy, fast and unserious, but this book has been disappointing thus far 😂 I can do with unoriginality, but I cross the line with bland, superficial writing. This book hasn't really given me much for now. This is a "3rd POV" trying too hard to be a slick and cocky "1st POV," but it's not working. But the concept is still interesting, so we'll see how it goes.

I wanted to read something stupid, an easy, fast read before delving into a profound story. But this has been a disappointing stupidity thus far. The writing is so bland, characters are flat and trying too hard to be cool and edgy. If I were a teenager this would have been groundbreaking for me, but it's whatever. Nothing has caught my attention thus far. Not sure if I should continue reading this shit. We'll see.
