Incredible book so far. The Digient story is probably my favorite of Chiang’s short stories up to this point, but it ended way too abruptly!

I honestly didn’t know what to expect in terms of originality, but Chiang does an incredible job putting unique twists on well-known sci-fi concepts, and he also manages to develop a few completely original concepts of his own. Excited to read the rest soon!

“I don’t particularly recommend the plot in ‘Interstellar’…” Okay buddy, I didn’t ask for your opinion.

I’m already out-of-the-loop and I have less than 300 pages to go. This guy does a terrible job explaining the physics behind the “Now” in layman’s terms, a non-negotiable for the type of book that this is (this isn’t a science textbook!). Simply boring writing too!

This book is gonna be a wash. Apparently it’s written by an anti-science right-winger who didn’t get his appendix removed (like he should have!) because a random line in a random book he opened at a book store told him not to trust his doctor. I am not making this shit up.

Also the language of the book is way too vague.

Go ahead Goodreads, sell my information. I dare you.
