So. I’m an idiot and didn’t notice it was a group of short stories so I was bummed when the first story about Enfaire ended so fast! That was my bad.. other than that I really am enjoying it. I usually don’t go for historical fiction but these stories are great! The imagery is amazing! Very well written

So far so good! Lots of characters to keep track of but it’s good!!

I’m not even sure I’m going to finish. The narrator is f**king disgusting and I’m sad I gave him some of my money. This whole book is him telling us how great he is and how many women he’s taken advantage of and how “great” he is….

I’m annoyed…. lol the narrator is the worst. The rudest slimiest bastard. And I’m holding on just because in the end “he gets his” it better be f**king good because he’s literally the worst. I’m half wayish and the whole first half of the book the narrator is just talking about women he’s f**ked over. It’s meh. I’m going to finish but I’m not excited about it..lol

Really interesting so far! I love the stories they really open your eyes into the funeral/ cremation business.
