No progress. I wanna dnf this.
It's not doing it for me. Very wordsy, lengthy, and I just can't seem to care about the characters or the outcome. Events are told vaguely and the voices of Viv and Carly are very vague so it's challenging to understand in which timeline a certain event took place in the sun down motel. Petulantly investigative, boring, scary sometimes but the author can't keep it up. Yep, dnf-ing it.

I wanna relish every fucking moment. They're fucking adorable omg and I'm in agony knowing that I can't read about them anymore than this.

I wouldn't say it's an adrenaline picking riveting thriller, rather tense on the basis of psychological impact. It's an undertone here.

I'm so done with this shit. Horrible pacing, cringy pov, melodramatic revelations, slow asf stuff. The epitome of a nightmare.
