I have decided to reread some passages (chapters) from this novel and my opinion and previous review is slowly changing, currently a 3/5 star read.

I'm incredibly bored by this.

What in the flying fuck is happening?!

Not enjoying this as much as I thought I would, which is such a shame since it was pushed all over social media and really seemed to be directed for trope lovers. But, I HATE these characters. Not in a love to hate kinda way but in a OMG THEY ARE BORING kinda way.

Here's the thing, I'm only on Chapter 9 as of right now and this story is already killing me. It's devastating so far, the loss of Katie's brother and her mother's reaction is so spot on. I couldn't even imagine.
So far, the characters are just that, characters. I'm neither attached or intrigued by them yet. Waiting to see if it gets better.
