This book is making me reconsider the belief that I can speak German... Herman Hesse is not for the weak, what a fucking weird writing style

I am so frustrated with the FMC & MMC interactions 😩 they're supposed to bring the main space but it's more of a turn down so far because they're both so OBNOXIOUSLY ANNOYING!!! 😤

You hear of everyone saying that this book destroyed them but it's great and think "yeah yeah, sure, it's just a book".
And then there's me 2/3 in, who has already cried for 2 hours while reading (and in public!!!) and hating how much I already know that there is no coming back from this... 😭😭😭
