I'm really, really loving this book so far. I was afraid it was going to be mired in details and plodding in pace, but after reading Steelheart and getting hooked on Sanderson's style, I'm giving this a try.

For as incredibly detailed as it is, the pace is fantastic. Something is ALWAYS happening, which is why I'm loving it. Awesome characters too so far!

Oh my god. It's not often that a book comes along and genuinely gives me the creepies and an utter geek cackle at a near constant rate. Ms. Priest writes a Lovecraft universe the way it's meant to be: creepy and utterly mad. And Lizzie Borden a badass? I'm not done yet but this is definitely my read of the year so far. It's just insanely fun!
