the writing style is too… internal? it’s kind of distracting and I can’t really pay attention to what’s actually happening instead of. all the robot things

I am obsessed with the stark contrast and ink rendering… goals…

so this story is clearly inspired by the thing and directly references it, but I think the biggest difference is the Science they describe doesn’t have as much research behind it so it feels just BARELY realistic

I wasn’t sure about this story at first but I’m really enjoying this dreamlike drifting between the characters, from the drunk to the sick girl to the lost girl to the mouse to the angry child just drifting… very fun

barely into this book and we get detailed shit and vomit. okeyyyy

ohhh this just became a really tough read… very graphic animal abuse ARGH…
