This time through I suppose I will try it

Back at it. My favorite of this series should put me back in a better book mood. I need to wash my mouth out from the last book I listened to.
Im still mad about it. 🤣

I love the first two so much!!
But man has this one been a struggle. Im so very close to just DNF ing this book.
Where has the plot gone? I feel like it is moving at a snails pace and just droning on and on about how they emotionally preparing for this war to come. We'll this war has been coming for 15 hours or listening time. At this point get it over with already, I no longer really care

I was originally put off by the title... but then this was marketed to me as "political intrigue and plot twists and romance is a sub plot"

So we shall see if it lives up to that.......

Plus it was 92 percent off on audible at the time... so that doesnt hurt LOL

Do we really need a chapter from the POV of the sick twisted villian?

Do you like books that make no sense until you get to the mind-blowing part where BOOM everything makes sense. And unreliable narrators?
Then you should try this book

Also, she was over powered so we've made the big bad even more powered? Ehhhhh idk
