I download and this one has added dual narration for the sequel. And the other narrator is Anthony Palmini. Done. Sold. I can't wait to jump in

I was originally put off by the title... but then this was marketed to me as "political intrigue and plot twists and romance is a sub plot"

So we shall see if it lives up to that.......

Plus it was 92 percent off on audible at the time... so that doesnt hurt LOL

And thats what I get for trusting the man with blonde hair.....never trust the blonde

Do we really need a chapter from the POV of the sick twisted villian?

Do you like books that make no sense until you get to the mind-blowing part where BOOM everything makes sense. And unreliable narrators?
Then you should try this book

Ok. So I have a problem.....
It's a love triangle.....
But I really like the blonde guy! He is amazing to her. "Love" is such a cute nickname to me.

But come on I've read enough fantasy books to know that the dark haired guy with shadow powers is who she is gonna be with.
But I'm so not on his team right now. He betrayed her! Took away her choices in matters. And his kingdom is killing innocents!

Oh I'm very interested. The secrets, politics, betrayal that's not a betrayal but maybe it is??? Who can we trust!!

So it's gonna be a love triangle..... typically not a fan. But I'll keep listening because I am intrigued haha

I find this story refreshing. It's more about the FMC working towards her goal (saving her kingdom of course) definately YA
And the romance sub plot is second to that

A while back audible did a sale where you could download a bunch of titles for free. This is one of the ones I got. I know next to nothing about it other than it was labeled young adult fantasy. So since I already have it might as well give it a try.
